John Fuller’s latest diatribe

Before reading John Fuller’s latest diatribe at the Flathead Beacon, even some conservatives might want to fortify themselves with a double bourbon. Writing from the right on “After the Shutdown,” the retired teacher from Flathead High delivered these rhetorical road apples:

The talking heads will be pontificating that the “extreme” Republicans were taught a lesson, the Tea Party is dead, and that the Republicans had better nominate politically correct, unimaginative, compromising, minority-favoring, hermaphroditic candidates in 2014 and 2016 or face extinction.

[The Obama administration] is a mean-spirited, arrogant, thuggish and brutish group of dogmatic individuals bent on destroying any and every impediment to its socialistic and tyrannical agenda. This is a broken presidency that will live out its last days lazily claiming that all that is wrong is Bush’s fault.

There are in the Flathead conservatives who are excellent writers, but John Fuller isn’t one of them. Liberals should be glad he’s still the right half of the Beacon’s Two for Thought face-off instead of a conservative master wordsmith such as Tim Baldwin.
