There will be caroling in the villages and cities tonight, and in some places in the countryside, families singing around the piano. In other places, households will crank up the home theater, perhaps even playing one of the videos below.
Favorites in my family included Joy to the World, and Silent Night, so I’ve added them here. We begin with a contemporary performance of Got Tell it on the Mountain by Lynda Randle that would have made Mahalia Jackson proud.
